Bath in Fashion 2016 | BIF Live Part 1

BIF live- a day dedicated to support and promote the stores of Bath, and us bloggers were on a mission to do what bloggers do best- visit, shop and tweet (in that order).

Thanks to Bath Boutique Stays, we were given extra special treatment yesterday with our very own bloggers lounge (or a 4 story apartment) equipped with tea& coffee making facilities, treats, comfy sofas and plenty of plug sockets.

Following our morning caffeine fix, we were off to Debenhams, our first stop (of many). An obvious favourite for us BIF bloggers where we were greeted by a glass of bucks fizz by the lovely Elodie. They offered us a fantastic range of counters to visit for a makeup or skin care routine demonstration, so we chose the smokey eye by Lancome Paris and a skincare routine from Clinique, as well as a tester of their new foundation stick.

To finish, we were given 20 minutes to roam around the store picking out and trying on all of our favourites clothes, meanwhile I managed to fall in love with a beautiful Julien Macdonald dress.
Debenhams always put on the most unbelievable day for us, and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity. As before, we didn’t come away empty handed, receiving a bag full of beauty and skincare products, and a £50 voucher to spend in store on the day. As you can imagine, for a group of fashion and beauty bloggers that wasn’t an issue, so I headed straight to the Urban Decay counter to treat myself to their Naked palette and Perversion mascara, two products which I’ve been lusting after for months.

Up next, Boux Avenue, who were offering free illustrations by Miss Magpie Spy, a lovely and incredibly talented women. Rather than waiting with her, she simply took a picture using her phone and told us to come back within twenty minutes, so we made the most of the free prosecco on offer at Southgate by Scavi and Ray. By the time we’d finished our bubbles and had a quick browse in the surrounding stores, they were ready and us bloggers were over the moon with our new illustrations.
