We all know that when it comes to fashion, the Parisians have it nailed. From effortless chic to high end glamour, they can do it all.
To celebrate my first month of living in the city, I’ve combined my two loves- Paris and shopping, to create a post showing all of my favourite shopping spots, ranging from the high street to high end.
Rue de Rivoli- located near le Louvre in the Marais area, this street is one of the most famous in Paris offering everything one could wish for. From international classics such as Mango, Zara and Kiko, to the smaller French brands, this street is a must.
In need of a glass of vin to help rehydrate ? The small side streets leading off of Rue de Rivoli have plenty of gorgeous restaurants and cocktail bars to help quench your thirst.
Boulevard Haussmann- the home of some of Paris’ most renowned department stores, Galleries Lafayette and Au Printemps, this truly is heaven for a fashion blogger. Located near Opéra, this street just screams elegant. With one of the most well designed Zara’s, that looks like a designer store, to a range of designers including Alexander McQueen and Chanel, you won’t be stuck for choice.
Champs-Elysées- without a doubt one of the most famous streets in Europe, it really is breath-takingly beautiful. The tree lined street joining the Place de Concorde to the iconic Arc du Triomphe is full of high-end flagship stores, our most-loved high street stores and some of Paris’ top restaurants. Featuring two Zara’s (and a Zara Home), the notable Louis Vuitton store, the classic Longchamp boutique and the most elegant Guerlain store, this is of course my favourite street in Paris.
Forum des Halles- a shopping centre located on the Rue de Berger, a 5 minute walk from the Rue de Rivoli, this is a must-visit for any high-street lover. An impressive building, despite its fairly confusing layout which is loved by the Parisians.
